How it Works
First Take is an educational consulting firm that is about the business of acting. So many coaches teach you how to act, and I'm here to teach you how to be a professional actor.
Every career and person is different and requires different guidance. That's why I like one-on-one sessions so they can be customized for each client.
All levels are welcome.

Many beginners need help knowing where to start and have questions like: What class(es) should I take? Do I need headshots right away? Do you know how and where I can audition? Are there specific casting sites I need to belong to? I can answer all of these questions for you and many more.

For people who have taken classes and are trying to navigate what's next. I can help you with your materials, understand what an agent does, why you may want one, what's happening in Texas and regionally, and so much more.

For those who are more experienced or have agents, I can help you, too. I am well informed on what is needed for a standout taped audition; I can help you decide if it's necessary to get another agent or manager; and I can help you ensure all your materials are up-to-date, that they represent you well, and so much more.
The Process
1. Book A Discovery Call
I want to meet everyone before I start working with you. It will help me know exactly what you need and what you should focus on. There are two sessions: One Take Wonders (just one session) and Multiple Takes (4 sessions). It will depend on what you want to work on to determine the session type you need. I will advise you at the end of the Discovery Call, but it’s ultimately up to you based on your time and financial needs.
2. Book A Session
After the Discovery Call, I will send you a link to book a session. From there, you will purchase and schedule the session. For Multiple Takes, we'll discuss how much time you need between the sessions. Once we know, I’ll send you another link to finish scheduling the sessions.
